This photo started out as a picture of the singer Camille O'Sullivan taken during a Spiegeltent performance during the Brighton festival of 2005. I couldn't think what to do with the image until 5 years later when I suddenly realised that what was missing was a giant wasp!
Camille is really belting out the lyrics in this shot, but it also looks like she is screaming in terror. The microphone she is holding is hidden behind one of the creature's legs.
