Tabletop Night

What to expect:

  • An informal ‘round table’ night with multiple tables, usually with around 6 people per table, talking about each-others work.

  • Tables aren’t assigned, so you just take a seat, and meet people

  • One person will lead the table, and ask everyone to introduce themselves, with a little bit about your interest in photography

  • To make sure everyone gets a chance to show their work, one-by-one, each person will show one of their photos & talk about it.  The table leader will invite feedback from others.

  • It is important to be KIND!

  • You don’t have to bring a print – you’re welcome to just join a table

  • At half-time, we break, and wander round the tables to look at everyone’s work

  • There are usually one or two experienced members who then select images from every table, and talk about the strengths of those images, or where an image could be tweaked to be made stronger… or how it relates to the given theme.

  • It is important to note that all opinions are subjective

What to bring:

Up to 3 prints of your work to talk about with others around the table.  Sometimes a theme is given for these nights.

Prints can be any size, up to A3, and do not have to be mounted.

Where to print:

Same-day service – Boots for small prints

In advance – Dstudio (online) is very reasonable, and good quality
