Bio

Brighton-based commercial photographer with over three decades of experience, the last decade focused on urban, landscape and illustrative photography. Fellow of the British Institute of Professional Photography. Clients include Canary Wharf Group, Caprice Holdings and the National Maritime Museum; work featured in The Sunday Times Magazine and Outdoor Photography. Won the Landscape Photographer of the Year 'Your View' category (2015) for 'Middle Dock Reflections'. Published two books: Fleeting Reflections (2016) and Fleeting Reflections II (2023). Regularly gives talks to camera clubs, colleges, the Master Photographers Association and LSE.

Photography style & work

Best known for the long-running 'Fleeting Reflections' series — graphic, abstract in-camera images (no compositing) made from the reflective glass architecture of Canary Wharf. His wider 'Abstract Observations' work finds order and pattern in ordinary urban surfaces; described as playful, pared-back and calming.
